NCSS Cherry Blossom Program Events
We are excited to announce that the 2022 Cherry Blossom Princess Program will be happening between April 3 - 9th. Tickets are now available for our events:
Lantern Lighting - Sunday April 3
Join NCSS and the National Park Service for the traditional lighting of the Japanese Stone Lantern, located amidst the cherry blossom trees (map located here). The Historic Lantern is approximately 375 years old and weighs over 4,000 lbs and was given as a gift by Japan in 1954. Entertainment starts at 2:30 PM with ceremony beginning at 3 PM.
Fashion Show Afternoon Tea at Ritz Carlton Hotel - Tuesday April 5
Join NCSS and the Cherry Blossom Princesses for an Afternoon Tea along with a Kimono demonstration and Lilly Pulitzer Fashion Show! Located in west end at 1150 22nd Street, NW the Ritz Carlton is a luxurious location to hold such an amazing event. Tickets are $105 for adults and $55 for children 12 and younger. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to see a wide variety of Kimono dresses and Lilly's latest fashion offerings. Event starts at 2:30pm and hats are encouraged!
Sushi Reception and Grand Ball at Capital Hilton - Friday April 8th
Cherry Blossom Grand Ball is the signature event where we celebrate the 2021 US Cherry Blossom Queen and crown the 2022 US Cherry Blossom Queen. Join us in celebrating this monumental event. The Grand Ball will be held at the Capital Hilton starting at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $185/adult and $80/Child through March 27 after which tickets are $200/$95. Special meal requests are available at time of purchase.
